Silversoft achieves a Level 1 B-BBEE for the Second Consecutive Year
August 2014, Silversoft is proud to announce that it has achieved a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Level 1 Contribution Status – the highest BEE achievable status – at the end of August 2014, for the second consecutive year.
“We are delighted with this achievement! Our team has worked very hard to keep our rating, and naturally we are very proud of receiving a Level 1 Contribution Status for the 2014/2015 assessment period. The certification demonstrates our commitment not only to operational excellence, but to remain an active & enthusiastic contributor to the future of the South African economy,” says, Jacques du Buisson, Managing Director. He continues, “There are many misconceptions to the Charter and how it is structured. For an SME of our size, we were able to invest in social and enterprise development initiatives on the grass-roots level that allow us to be actively involved in the community as well as support local entrepreneurial talent.”
Silversoft is also a QSE (Q), which in combination with the level 1 B-BBEE rating, offers its clients a spend recognition of R 3,88 to the Rand. “At this level, our clients are able to recognize their spend with our firm as a significant part of their own B-BBEE verification process and this will assist us to remain highly competitive in the local market,” says Clair Moodaley, Silversoft’s Financial and Operations Manager.
