Ogilvy & Mather’s previous system did not support their 1200 people across 14 separate companies working on the same projects. This meant that they had to create multiple projects and billing across company structures was an admin nightmare. Information got lost and time was wasted. Collaboration was usually done through emails and resource management was done in Excel. Ogilvy & Mather needed transparency and a mature business system that was tailored to support their processes. After a thorough research for systems and numerous demo’s with various software companies, Ogilvy decided to invite us to Cape Town in December 2016. Through a week of demos and socializing with the Ogilvy & Mather stakeholders and project sponsors, Ogilvy & Mather were convinced that they’ve found what they were looking for… with WorkBook.
Ogilvy & Mather acknowledged that through time their staff had grown operational habits with the previous system, so the install was kicked off by a Business Process Mapping (BPM) project in early 2017. The BPM served the purpose of reviewing current processes and how they could improve – and be aligned with WorkBook as a system. The BPM helped Ogilvy & Mather to improve their workflows and as a result, be more profitable.

Ogilvy & Mather went live with WorkBook in September 2017. As a part of their change management, Ogilvy & Mather ran an internal WorkBook campaign, that included large posters, news bulletins, extensive process documentation and finally the video below.
